OUR STORY
The Beginning
ICGC Berean Temple was inaugurated on 7th September 2008, with the vision of raising leaders, shaping vision, and influencing society through Christ. We began our journey with just 12 people who gathered for the very first Sunday service at the Aloha School compound in Mallam.
Because the space was only available on Sundays, midweek services were held at the residence of our Head Pastor, Rev. Christina Mante, while prayer meetings took place at Gbawe School Park, where we sought the face of God and laid the spiritual foundation for the ministry.
2008: Church Inauguration
Started with 12 people at Aloha School compound in Mallam
2010: Relocation to Gravel Junction
Moved to a chain of stores, home for almost a decade
2018: 10th Anniversary
Celebrated milestone with induction of 5 Deacons
2019: New Home
Moved to current location with renewed commitment

Rev. Christina Mante | Head Pastor
A Legacy of Faith
Rev. Christina Mante is the pioneering Head Pastor of ICGC Berean Temple, where she has faithfully led since the church’s inception in 2008. From starting with just 12 members at Aloha School in Mallam to overseeing a vibrant congregation in Gbawe today, she has dedicated her life to teaching God’s Word, raising leaders, and transforming lives through Christ.
Her ministry is marked by practical teaching, a strong prayer life, and compassionate leadership, making her not only a shepherd to the church but also a mentor and inspiration to many.
Ongoing Project
Church Building...
The construction of the church auditorium marks a key step in providing a comfortable and spacious place for worship and community gatherings. Glass windows and doors were installed to enhance natural light, improve energy efficiency, and give the space a modern, open feel.
To ensure comfort in all seasons, a full air conditioning system was also installed. This upgrade creates a pleasant environment for worship and events, reflecting the church’s commitment to both spiritual and physical well-being.
